Action Pools
The main actions most Player Characters will be taking are usually from Action Pools such as:
Rising Action ^5b10a9
At the beginning of a PCâs turn they also have a special Rising Action, which they can take to either:
- roll their Recovery Dice twice and take the better result
- Move once Additional Rising and Falling actions may be granted by a characterâs Role
Effective AP ^2c1bb5
Sometimes effects will call for âEffective APsâ, this is the measure of how many Action Points you would spend without counting Adrenaline. For example: if you take two actions, one that costs 2 AP and one that costs 3 AP, but reduce the cost of the latter with one stack of Adrenaline, in total you would spen 4 AP. But in this scenario the Effective AP you spent would be 5. Reactions count for 1 AP. Flourish Actions count for 0 AP for their free uses.
